The Sigma Golden Rhoyalty Legacy Foundation is organized exclusively for charitable, educational, and community purposes under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.The mission of the Foundation is to educate, support, advocate, and encourage self-empowerment in Kansas City, KS area communities by serving as a leading resource for educational enrichment, health & wellness, and youth empowerment.

We support the following program

  • The youth symposium is a gathering designed to educate, empower, and inspire young people by addressing relevant issues, promoting leadership, and fostering discussion and solutions to challenges they face. These events can take many forms, from workshops on important topics like mental health, career planning, and social issues, to leadership training and forums for cultural growth.
    The purposes of the youth symposium:
  • Education: Provide information on critical topics affecting youth, such as health, safety, and future planning.
  • College Readiness and Career planning: Provides an opportunity for students to interact with professionals to develop skills needed for college and career preparation. 
  • Empowerment: Build confidence and provide young people with the tools and resources needed to succeed.
  • Discussion & Solutions: A forum for discussing concerns and finding solutions to prevalent problems like teen violence, substance abuse, and low self-esteem.
  • Skill Development: Opportunities to develop leadership skills, public speaking, and other practical abilities.
  • Community & Networking: Provide a space for young people, educators, and community leaders to connect, share ideas, and build partnerships.
  • Awareness & Culture: Focus on raising cultural awareness and fostering a sense of unity among diverse groups.
  • Career & Financial Planning: Various stations will offer guidance on career paths, financial literacy, and how to prepare for the future of work.
